Anthony Walley

Anthony Walley (Tony) is a senior Noongar and Yamatji man, born and raised in Morawa, Western Australia. He is part of a well-known and well respected Aboriginal family that includes his uncle, Dr Richard Walley. Tony is a father, grandfather, and respected advocate on matters affecting Noongar people. Like other Noongar people in the Keogh Bay team, Tony has connections to Whadjuk, Yuet, Baladong and other regions within the larger Noongar world.

Tony comes to Keogh Bay with over thirty years of professional work experience in Indigenous leadership, management, mentoring, supervision, employment and recruitment. Tony has a comprehensive working background in mining, Aboriginal employment, recruitment, cultural awareness training, native title, policing, sport and recreation, the drug and alcohol support sector and community engagement. Tony has also worked in government, including the Department of Indigenous Affairs, the not for profit sector, for several years in the resource sector.
