Haylee Bartlett

Haylee is a Whadjuk/Baladong woman from Perth who has lived and worked in Karratha for 13 years. She is 28 years old and has 3 sons aged between 5 and 10. Haylee is a business owner – she runs HAKC Enterprises – an operations maintenance and cleaning business based in Karratha (https://hakc.com.au/)

Haylee has held roles in recruitment, administration, partnerships and Indigenous recruitment/training and mentoring across local government, mining, mining contractors and service organisations.

Haylee has grown up with both parents having training and educational backgrounds. She has a sound understanding of the different approaches required to build effective Indigenous education and training. Her passion to promote education around cultural differences and cultural sensitivity having lived experienced of the challenges faced by many young Aboriginal people throughout her personal and professional life.

Haylee joined the Keogh Bay training team part-time in early 2021and has already shown strong skills in workshop facilitation.
