Naydeene Edwards

Naydeene is a Wadjari woman with links to the Meekatharra region. She has recently joined the Keogh Bay team as a facilitator in our Working with Indigenous Employees program.

In 2021 Naydeene was employed as a Learning and Development Advisor with Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Greater Brockman sites. There she was responsible for looking after visiting training facilitators, organising rooms and delivering Rio Tinto’s Virtual Reality Cultural training.

Previously, Naydeene has worked as a Manager for Aboriginal Training and Engagement for Accordwest and as a Community Capability Officer for South-West Aboriginal Medical Service. Her real passion, however, was supporting Aboriginal people into housing as an Aboriginal Support Officer and Accommodation manager for the Department of Housing.

This led Naydeene to establish RU House Ready, a business that helps Aboriginal people find their feet as tenants or homeowners.

Naydeene has a deep understanding of what makes great cultural capability training and will be effective at engaging various stakeholders.
