Bis Industries contracted Keogh Bay to develop cultural awareness e-learning for delivery across Bis sites nationally.

Keogh Bay’s e-learning specialist, Darren Ramsey, worked with content specialists and facilitators Sharyn Derschow and Kingsley Bartlett to record key pieces of film and audio for use in the e-learning. Matt Wrigley designed the overall program in collaboration with the Keogh Bay team.

The program contains two 40 minute modules. The first is a general awareness module covering subjects that include Aboriginal history, language and cultural diversity, missions, the Stolen Generations and the effect of the Equal wages decisions in the 60’s and 70s. The second module covers workplace issues and guidance for Bis staff to build a workplace that inclusive of Aboriginal employees.

The program is a great mix of video, audio and interactive elements.
