ARDS Aboriginal Corporation based in Darwin and Nhulunbuy was contracted by the Department of the Chief Minister in east Arnhem Land to develop a trial cultural training package for government employees working in the region. The program needed to be a mix of face-to-face elements and on-line elements.

ARDS asked Keogh Bay director Matt Wrigley to lead the development of the training in collaboration with ARDS content experts including senior Yolngu board members and cultural facilitators.

Keogh Bay worked with ARDS team members to design the training and develop e-learning and face-to-face materials. We then worked with two ARDS facilitators to develop their skills to deliver the program. More than 30 government employs in east Arnhem land reviewed the on-line learning and undertook three modules in the face to face workshops on the 24 and 25 of July, 2018.

Reviews of the program were extremely positive, with 100% of participants rating it as either Excellent or Good.
